Here Kitty, Kitty, Kitty.....

Right now the shelter is over run with Kitties! They have big kitties, little kitties, all different colors and sizes of kitties and they have big kitties too. They are going out to good homes just as soon as they are coming in, but for every one that goes out, about 4-6 more come in! Sorry I haven't updated in awhile but I've been busy with a job change, in the process of moving and tending to other duties as well at the shelter, my job, and some other things. This will mainly be pictures, but I hope you all enjoy it!

Tight Fit

Here we have one of the little ones who invaded another ones space. The little one wasn't too happy about it, but in the end just let the other one be. Sometimes after surgery they are given special collars to wear to prevent them from licking their incision spots for faster healing and to prevent infection.

Nap Time

Smaller kittens often use their litterbox for napping also, and this one is no exception. Many of the smaller kitties brought in don't have names yet, that's why no name is posted here. What a cutie!

Oops!

Hey! Who put this one in here?! LOL! Oh well, this one is still up for adoption too....hehe..

Fatty

Well I honestly hated to post this ones name, but it his actual name that the owners stuck him with. He had a freek accident earlier in life which caused him to lose his right eye and on top of that he gets stuck with a name like fatty. I'm hoping his new owners give him a much better name. He's about 3-4 years old and weighs about 16 pounds. What a beauty!

King Alex

Well I have to include this pic of Alex for, well you know who you are...lol. He's already been adopted but he is 3 yrs old and is a Black and White Tuxedo short haired cat.

Waverly

Here is Waverly and he is 9 yrs old and he's a Orange Medium hair tabby. He is smiling in this pic and this is one of my favorites for sure. I borrowed this pic from the shelter's website because there were just too many cats and kitties there for me to get a pic of them all!

Faith

Here is Faith and she is a 6 yr old, Pointer/Bird dog mix. She's about 22 lbs and is awesome! You can click on the pick for a better view, but she is a gorgeous reddish color mixed with white.

Jayne

I just have to introduce you to Jayne! She is one awesome dog and what a beauty she is. She's only 9 months old and is a Boston Terrier mix and is a recent PAWS graduate! Way to Go, Jaynee! (Well that's what I call her! )

Enjoying a Walk

Jayne just getting ready to go in after a nice, but brief walk outside. When the temps are in the 90's, they are taken out long enough to take care of business and then immediately brought back in to keep from overheating.

Jayne

Here's a close up pic of Jayne from the shelter's website and you can see her amazing coat of fur which includes brown, white and a deep tiger golden brown and black color. She is an absolute beauty!

Live Cat TV

All the cats that are brought in to the shelter get live Bird TV right outside their window. The shelter's bird bath and various bird feeders were placed outside the windows with the Cats and kitties in mind.

Updating Soon!

Well it figures the one day I have to update on my shelter blog, that there is a scheduled outage at 4 pm PDT. LOL. And I'm assuming that is right about now since I can't get my pics uploaded. I did go to the shelter today for about two hours and took tons of pics and I will upload some as soon as I can, or when the outage is over. Check back soon!
